THE FAMED DICK HYMAN AND HEATHER MASSE RECORDING WITH RESINNO PIANO DESIGN

Press Release - June 14th 2012

Hyman plays on Royal Ebony Design

Tampa, Fla. – Red House Recording Artist Heather Masse recently recorded her new album with the help of famed Pianist Dick Hyman on May 15-17, 2012 at Audio Images Recording, Inc. in Brandon, Florida. Hyman played on a rare piano designed by Justin Elliott, originator and co-founder of ResInno.

ResInno provides hand-crafted customizations that enhance both the sound of the piano and its aesthetics. Through the addition of carefully designed and engineered piano legs that use a specific mix of materials and provide a sleeker and more-stylish design, ResInno modifications increase the acoustic isolation resulting in the “ResInno Effect.”

The ‘ResInno Effect’ results in a tone that is stronger, clearer and more focused than that of a stock piano. In technical terms, it reduces the unpleasant, non-harmonic frequencies that are normally heard in all piano tones. The reduction of this “noise,” which gives greater clarity to the more harmonic frequencies,  greatly enhances the overall tone quality of the piano.

“It is humbling when respected musicians like Mr. Hyman and Ms. Masse recognize the impact of the ResInno Effect,” said Elliott. “I am honored that Mr. Hyman played on one of my designs, and I was thrilled to work with them both on this album.”

Hyman played on ResInno’s Royal Ebony design, a one-of-a-kind grand piano with legs that look like a sleek triangle with curves, embellished with gold accents.
